In this talking‑heads conversation, two senior association leaders from a Trade Association and a Medical Association, share their perspectives on the evolving challenges facing membership organisations today. 

From shifting member expectations and regulatory pressures to financial sustainability and governance, the discussion explores how CEOs are reshaping strategy to remain relevant and trusted. A central focus of the conversation is the strategic role of events, not just as revenue generators, but as essential platforms for engagement, influence, education, and community‑building. 

This session offers a candid leadership insight into how events align with organisational purpose, how success is measured at board level, and what the future holds for members in an increasingly complex environment. Session Two – 12:00 – 12.45 - North Gallery 13, ExCel London

Through peer discussion and practical insight, the session will help you:
